Unlocking Your Pelvic Floor Workshop
This workshop will focus on pelvic floor health during the perimenopause/menopause transition including preventing bladder leakage, reducing pain, restoring normal bowel function, and addressing hormonal changes “down there”. We will discuss all aspects of the menopausal transition and how it affects your WHOLE BODY (not just your ovaries). Learn to optimize your health and longevity by making small lifestyle changes that make the biggest impact on the way you eat, move, think, and sleep. Included is a short movement practice to demonstrate effective breathing strategies, mobility, and strengthening for the hips and pelvis.
Wear loose fitting clothes, bring your yoga mat and a small blanket/towel/bolster/pillow for comfort while sitting on the floor. Chairs will also be provided if needed.
This workshop is suitable for women of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are a beginner or have some prior knowledge of pelvic floor exercises, this workshop will provide you with the valuable tools to optimize your health and UNLOCK your pelvic floor!
